That's when I stopped trying
It wasn’t when you stopped trying. It was long after that. It wasn’t even when you stopped caring. I still tried then too. It wasn’t when I knew that no matter what I did it would never happen. I kept trying even though I knew this.
Truth be told I never stopped trying. I just changed where I was trying when I realized I could have so much more, and so much better.
